The 2017 FIS Nordic World Championships commences on February 23 in Lahti and thirteen NNF-supported athletes, nine cross-country skiers, three nordic combined athletes, and one ski jumper will be on hand to represent the United States.

Coming off of stellar performances throughout the season, the U.S. will be a team to watch this year at World Championships. The funding that the NNF provides, thanks to the support of our community, plays a significant role in the strength of the U.S. contingent; many members of the World Championships team have received NNF funding at some point in their career. THANK YOU to the thousands of people that have supported, and continue to support, tomorrow’s nordic stars–you are making a real difference!

Testimonials

“Thanks for all you do for us in U.S. skiing. The NNF helped me through the Development Pipeline last winter by getting me to the U23 World Championships and OPA Cup events. Because of it, this year I am prepared to win an OPA Cup race.”
