Community Continues to Fuel the Future of U.S. Skiing

As the 2025/2026 season kicks off, the ski community stepped forward once again to demonstrate the collective power behind the sport. The 2025 Drive for 25 has officially wrapped up, and thanks to the generosity of supporters nationwide, together with a generous $20,000 match, the final total soared to $137,066 and the total number of donors to 1028.

Every dollar donated through Drive for 25 goes directly toward the mission of the National Nordic Foundation (NNF): to support athletic excellence in developing cross-country skiers across the United States and to make skiing more accessible, equitable, and competitive for all.

This year’s fundraising effort featured strong regional participation across the country:

  • Midwest: $22,582 from 157 donors
  • New England: $22,100 from 183 donors
  • Alaska: $17,380 from 65 donors
  • Pacific Northwest: $15,094 from 87 donors

Each region’s contribution showcases the commitment to supporting U.S. skiing and sustaining a strong pipeline of future athletes.

Ambassador Leadership & Community Spirit

A special thank-you goes to the top ambassadors whose leadership helped energize the effort:

  • Trail to Gold
  • Dashe McCabe
  • Murphy Kimball

Their enthusiasm, outreach, and commitment helped build momentum across clubs, communities, and supporters — proving once again that this sport thrives when we stand together.

Thank You — And There’s Still Time to Give

To everyone who donated, shared the campaign, supported an ambassador, or encouraged a friend — thank you. Your commitment makes real the promise of U.S. skiing for tomorrow’s stars.

The Drive for 25 may have officially closed, but the support many of our athletes will rely on for the season ahead continues to matter. If you missed the initial campaign — it’s not too late to stand with U.S. skiing and invest in its future.
