On the first full day of October NDG, more than 50 skiers from the National Development Group, college programs, professional teams, biathlon programs, and the Stifel U.S. Ski Team met at Soldier Hollow for a pace project workout. The energy set the tone for the entire October NDG camp. Seeing so many paths come together, along with the depth of U.S. skiing, was a powerful reminder of how much stronger we are when we work together. The rain certainly didn’t dampen anyone’s excitement to see one another and work together in this workout!

Over the rest of the week, the 14 October NDG athletes did easy distance sessions, strength at the COE, a run with the Stifel US Ski team, technique-focused sessions, and the Schützenski rollerski races, before wrapping up with a point-to-point run. Despite a wide range of ages (U18–U24), morale was high and the athletes made the most of being together in a camp environment.

A big thank you to NNF, the Stifel U.S. Ski Team, Mae Whitcomb (BSF), Ivy Eski (SSWSC), and Bryan Fish for a great camp!
