“I joined the U.S. Ski Team for a training camp in Muonio, Finland, followed by the first World Cup of the season in Ruka in November. Thanks to the Trail to Gold Grant, I spent two full weeks learning, skiing, and working alongside U.S. Ski Team athletes, coaches, and wax techs. The experience was incredibly educational, but what I’ll carry with me most is being part of race day on the World Cup circuit. The coaches and wax techs welcomed me as part of the team, and working closely with such dedicated, talented people gave me invaluable insight to bring back to my home club.
