In a tough qualification round in the U23 Women’s Sprint Free, the US Women were led by Abigail Jarzin in 43rd, followed by Lucinda Anderson in 45th, Anabel Needham in 46th and Rena Schwartz in 54th.
“It was a super quick race out there today”, said Lucinda Anderson. “It was probably one of the shortest sprints I’ve had to do and every second counted for sure. Overall, I think the race went well and I’m so grateful to have had this experience racing against the best in the world.”
The Race was won by Moa Hansson of Sweden, followed by Monika Skinder of Poland in second and Nataliya Mekruukova of Russia in third.
