Each year, NNF is proud to sponsor US Ski and Snowboard’s OPA Cup Trip, which provides young, upcoming professional skiers with a top-level competition opportunity on the European circuit.
This year’s OPA Cup team started the week in Falcade, Italy, competing in an FIS race. In the two day pursuit race, the US and Craftsbury Green Racing Project pairing of Margie Freed and Alex Lawson combined for top results, with Freed winning and Lawson in third place. In the Junior U20 race, Summit Nordic Team’s Nina Schamberger took a win as well, rounding out an all-around strong performance from the USA.
Skiers headed back to Toblach following Sunday’s races, where they will join up with OPA Cup circuit this week.
