The Western Region REG camp took place in mid-June amid the sunny skies and clear waters surrounding Lake Tahoe, California. Under US Ski and Snowboard Cross Country Sport Development Director Bryan Fish REG camps have come to represent a balance between camaraderie, competition and fun, and this year’s Western version was no different.
Athletes competed in everything from an uphill running time trial to a rollerski agility course, stressing the complex and challenging nature of the sport that they’ve all shown great promise in as they look towards dreams and challenges this upcoming winter!
