We had a beautiful 4hr run/hike today with wildflowers in full bloom (Indian Paintbrush, Lupine, columbine, etc).  The weather has been excellent, training has been skill rich and well supported by the coaches.  This has been a very motivational camp and we should be excited to watch this group of athletes flourish in the future.  Thanks to the parents and athletes for choosing to participate in this critical step of our development pathway.  Thanks to the coaches at home for developing these athletes and most important, thank you for the coaches here at camp support this camp and these athletes & a big thanks to the Jackson Hole Ski Club Nordic and Teton Science School for hosting.

Grace (coach) – This is a great opportunity to show that they are nor competing in a vacuum but there are others like them training hard around the country.  This is a really cool project that builds friendships domestically.   Even if they don’t go on in the future to compete internationally, we are building a community of future skiers, coaches, techs, and fans.

Taylor (athlete) – This camp is giving me the chance to ski with the others because I’m from a small club. It is also great to get coached by other coaches.

Ben (athlete) – It’s cool to get to train with other top athletes and get to know them. We’re building friendships that carry through the racing season.  I look forward to seeing them at competitions.

Everett (athlete) – The biggest take-away from this camp is building the ski community.  We have all become closer and developed friendships for years to come. Thanks for the opportunity.
